It is with heavy hearts that we
announce that our long-time colleague and friend, Diane M. Einhorn-Colish, died
on December 8, 2016 after a short illness.
Diane is survived by her husband of
41 years William Colish, her son Daniel (Faith), her daughter Stefanie (Harry)
and three grandchildren. Diane also leaves her brother Eric (Kirsten) and their
family as well as many other loving cousins, extended family and dear friends.
Diane grew up in Larchmont, NY and
earned her B.A. with honors at the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated in
New York University
Law School and became an associate with the law firm of Willkie, Farr and
Gallagher in New York City. Diane became counsel with Playtex in 1977 and
developed a specialty in national and international trademark law and followed
Playtex through numerous corporate merges. Diane retired from Hanes Brands in
2006 to join us at Ohlandt, Greeley, Ruggiero and Perle as “Of Counsel”.
Diane was an exemplar of the modern
professional woman who seamlessly combined family, career, friends and community
with great aplomb.
Diane and her family lived in
Harrison, New York where she was active in school, community, and religious
organizations. Struck down before her time, her passing will leave a deep void
for her family, friends, her legal associates, and the community. Diane will be
greatly missed by all of us who loved and admired her.
